Nigeria’s $34.6 billion Budget for 2020 was benchmarked on an oil price of $57 per barrel. It expected crude oil sales to contribute 35 percent of government revenue. The survey of 50 economists and analysts, mainly conducted before the coronavirus outbreak, forecast benchmark Brent crude LCOc1 to average $63.48 per barrel in 2020. That compares with an average Morgan Stanley also cut its second-quarter 2020 Brent price forecast to $55 per barrel and its WTI outlook to $50 on expectations that China's 2020 oil demand growth would be close to zero and The EIA expects that OPEC will haul in a little over $600 billion in 2019. This is more than just wanting higher oil prices OPEC NEEDS them. Even Iraq, which has been pumping out crude at a rate of 3.5 million barrels per day last month, is hoping OPEC+ slashes production further.
